the clash rallied for causes they believed in. i'm not sure what politics the doors believed in. you assume its left, cause there rebellious , the 60's etc . but they don;t say, if you know their music well. comparing the bands does make me see things i missed before. like "unknown solider" from the doors. after listening to clash's leftist tunes, it made me appreciate that song more. cause its the only time you get anything close to a statement of political expression.. All the other songs are so mystical they don;t have the immediate impact of the clash;s fuck you aura and spirit. but i still the love the doors epics.
