I'd be careful saying stuff like that on the Internet.

You're right. I should have said I'll watch anything he puts up except a Kings of Leon show.

I was thinking more along the lines of tentacle porn, but that sounds almost as unpleasant.

Awesome. I imagine U.S. Tour dates can't be too far behind.

I'm a bad DM fan: I never even bought or listened to their last album.

I did go see them, though, on their tour of that last album -- and I had a great time. Really enjoyed myself and most of the then-new songs live.

You pretty much heard all the best songs off that record. Unless they played the one with Martin Gore on lead vocals. That one is terrible.

I do like that they've switched producers. James Ford produced the last Foals record, which sounded great.

I LOVE the last Foals album!!! And, yes, I agree that it does sound fantastic. Should be exciting to hear what Spirit sounds like.

Depeche Mode and U2 have had a pretty similar career trajectory, so who's had the better post 2000 output?

ATYCLB
Bomb
No Line
SOI

vs.

Exciter
Playing The Angel
Sounds of The Universe
Delta Machine

Depeche Mode by a long shot. Playing the Angel, Sounds of the Universe, and Exciter are all better than any album U2 has released since 2000.
