DEPECHE MODE FORCED TO CANCEL APPEARANCE AT SHORELINE AMPHITHEATRE IN MOUNTAIN VIEW ON AUGUST 12TH DUE TO DOCTOR'S ORDERS
Depeche Mode has been forced to cancel their scheduled appearance on Wednesday, August 12th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California due to doctor's orders that lead singer Dave Gahan be on complete vocal rest for 48 hours. Because of their busy schedule, a new Bay Area date will not be rescheduled this year.
"San Francisco is one of the most important cities to the band and we are devastated that we have been forced to cancel this date," said Dave Gahan. "We hope to be back soon to play for all of our fans in the area."
I cannot believe that this is happening to me again. I do not go to many concerts and the ones that I try to go to get canceled.

Bad year for Dave, wow. I guess that explains the cutting short of the Lolla set. Sorry, sicy.
Sadly, they cut "People Are People." Unacceptable. Also, as is always the case with a new DM tour, you should expect the most blatantly, embarrassingly, stupidly terrible visuals in the history of touring. Until, of course, their next tour. Wow. Shockingly bad. But, still--great songs, great performances, great fun. Wonderful show, even if it was a rip-off (due to its 95-minute run-time).
Ummm . . . I love you Sicy, but . . . if this is the case, then maybe you shouldn't go to Vegas 360.
They haven't been playing, nor are they planning on playing People Are People, the band have been very outspoken about pretty much detesting this song. They cut out Strangelove and Master & Servant.
I'm not jinxed, I just saw No Doubt, they didnt cancel!
Plus, U2 would never pull this shit.
maybe these are the sounds of the universeI hate to say it, but I think the universe is trying to send DM a message: DON'T tour this year!
They have, Lovetown, cancelled a lot of shows in Australia when Bono lost his voice. I saw the first one after the postponementPlus, U2 would never pull this shit.
