Same. I thoroughly enjoyed the Floyd and Beatles survivors for this very reason.

He wrote everything on the albums, and yes, some songs are co-written, but you can say that about the Eno collaborations.

And that first album is better than at least 3 of Bowie's proper studio releases.

It's actually probably pretty lame how much I like "Under the God".

I'd always thought Tin Machine was considered embarrassing. More than happy to include it if people want.

They used to play Under the God all the time at gym. Of all the Bowie songs...

When have you ever let anything considered "embarrassing" stop you from doing anything, ever?

Haha, as you can tell from Facebook (unless you blocked me, which is understandable) I've kind of embraced embarrassment.

Also: the playoffs can be one round each too, voting for your favourites, leaving the final as the only one we whittle down by voting off least favourite. Hopefully by then I can tag Schloopy in each poll, he likes that system.

I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Laz, at least it's an ethos.

His self-titled debut has a few gems.

I actually listened to it the last time we did this, for the sake of the poll. Really enjoyed it.
