I think that list is missing the Buddha of Suburbia.
Forgot about that one.

Now, Screwtape, it's just a matter of figuring out a good system for voting for albums. It's difficult since this is more of a ratio kind of thing.
LemonMacPhisto said:What about various b-sides and singles?
His version of All the Young Dudes, Velvet Goldmine, and John I'm Only Dancing need to be included.

Every album gets at least one song. That's 25 spots including Buddha of Suburbia and Labyrinth soundtracks. That leaves 39 spots. If we do a multiple choice poll asking which 10 albums deserve more than one song, that will give us a good ratio of which albums are more heavily liked and we can do the math after the fact. It's not perfect but like I said we can do the math after the fact.
The album we are using are:
David Bowie (1967)
Space Oddity (1969)
The Man Who Sold the World (1970)
Hunky Dory (1971)
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1972)
Aladdin Sane (1973)
Pin Ups (1973)
Diamond Dogs (1974)
Young Americans (1975)
Station to Station (1976)
Low (1977)
"Heroes" (1977)
Lodger (1979)
Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) (1980)
Let's Dance (1983)
Tonight (1984)
Labyrinth Soundtrack (1986)
Never Let Me Down (1987)
Black Tie White Noise (1993)
The Buddha of Suburbia (1993)
Outside (1995)
Earthling (1997)
'hours...' (1999)
Heathen (2002)
Reality (2003)

That's similar to what I was thinking. Plus the Non-Album Tracks version.
I'll do the polling if you want me to, though I will need YLB or LeMel to pick up the polls for me when I go to Atlanta later in the month.

I'm going to have a fairly busy April/May with school and drama-related stuff, but I'll try and pick up the slack if you need me.

Don't hurt yourself, YLB. I could do it.

Do you want to make the album poll now? Get this thing in motion?
phillyfan26 said:What about all the re-release bonus tracks? I didn't see Bombers listed on the Non-Album List.
phillyfan26 said:Screwtape, I'm currently working on the master list and introduction. I'll send it to you when I'm finished, then I'll post that.
I'll make the album voting a separate thread.
Got Aladdin Sane? I love that album.
And pfan where the hell has the survivor gone?
Great album, indeed.
He's been out of town for a week and is coming back soon. Before that though, no idea what happened.
I own: Hunky Dory, Ziggy, Aladdin Sane, Low and Heroes.
Where should I go next? I don't think there's much more Ziggy/Aladdin-type stuff is there?
for pfan-
My take on Station to Station:
Station to Station - excellent tune, kinda long, but wel worth it. 8.5/10
Golden Years - always one of my favs - 10/10
Word on a Wing - brilliant. 10/10
TVC 15 - Cool Tune, but kinda goofy. 7/10
Stay - Solid, I like the little jam at the end. 8/10
Wild is the Wind - Nice. I dig it. 9/10.
All in all I give it 8.75 out of 10. I still like Space Oddity better, then Ziggy, but this has moved into 3rd.
