Space Oddity and Hunky Dory are probably the most accessible. Ziggy Stardust as well.

Many times, in a word, BRILLIANT, but it looks as though you might not get a chance to see him again, hasn't toured since his heart problem back in 2004, has only made brief live appearances since, and there appears to be no sign of any new material coming out in the near future, he seems to have gone into early retirement, unfortunately, still, at least U2 are still out there, imo the only group who can compare to his live show.

I got the chance to see him in 2004, for my fourteenth birthday. To this day, it was the best concert I've ever seen. It was fucking brilliant.

Spin magazine recently voted nirvana's coer of tmwstw the best cover of all time, personally speaking I wouldn't even call it the best cover of that song, Lulu's cover from 1974 is a far superior version, IMO.

Fingers on both hands and all my toes are crossed for him being one of the headliners at next year's Glastonbury festival. Come on Bowie, return to the live stage in triumphant fashion!

Are there any indications to give you such hope that Bowie might be returning?

I was wondering the same thing. My friend is trying to get me to put a deposit down on tickets for next year, and that would be very, VERY persuasive.

Not really other than he is the bookies favourite along with Rolling Stones at the moment. His name has been thrown around as a possibility for quite a while now though.

The Stones playing would serve to dissuade me from going. The last thing I want to see at a festival is 70 year-old Mick Jagger strutting around in front of a creaky jukebox.
