We're very pleased to announce the complete tracklisting for the forthcoming Red Hot charity compilation Dark Was The Night.

Produced by The National's Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Dark Was The Night will be made available in double-CD, triple-vinyl and digital download formats. The compilation hits stores on 16th February '09 (17th in North America).

I'd be really interested to hear the Spoon track, and mildly interested to hear The National track. But that's about it.

I've tried to not listen to any of the songs they've streamed so it'll all be a surprise to me.
 
I wish that I wanted to buy this, but I was only interested in the cover of Destroyer's "Hey, Snow White," by the Pornos. I have heard it, and it does not warrant a purchase of the whole album. C'est la vie.
