Daniel Lanois confirmed headliner for first International Music Producers Festival - Soundedit '09
11-12.09.2009 - Poland, Lodz, Toya Studios, Wytwórnia Club.

With unquestionable pride we would like to announce that one of the most extraordinary music producers, well-recognized success catalyst of such artists as U2, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel, great musician, composer and songwriter - Daniel Lanois, arriving to Lodz straight from Canada, will be a special guest of Soundedit Festival '09.
During two days festival, Lanois will meet the festival audience at a special and unique workshop. In order to honour his genuine achievements in producers field and impact on sound creation process we decided to present him a Special Award "The Man With The Golden Ear". The most important part of Lanois' appearance will be his first ever concert in Poland. This historical event will take place on September 12th in Wytwórnia Club. Lanois will be accompanied on stage by members of his new music project Black Dub: Trixie Whitley and Brian Blade.

Lanois' concert tickets allow guests to enter special and intimate Daniel Lanois workshops which take place day before the concert on September 11th . Ticket holders can also enter a special show of documentary movie about mighty Canadian "Here Is What Is".

its kindda obvious for me that U2 fans may be interested in attending Lanois one and only open workshops and his concert day after.
not mentioning that he was involved in NLOTH songwriting process as well.
