I like both songs . Apparently I'm very easy to please .

Thanks .

I'll watch that video in a bit here, I'm curious to see it.

I love Fix You. Favorite song on X&Y, and it's one of the strongest tracks in their live shows.

If you hate it, then don't listen to it. Simple.

Oh, I don't listen to it, don't you worry. I just don't expect me saying I like a song means that it should automatically be exempt from criticism.

Oh, I agree. It just seemed that it went a bit overboard. Especially since I had just said it meant a lot to me. Right after, the parade of hate came on. This is why I should stay out of this area of the forum, and even though I quite enjoy reading through the threads and seeing some different types of music you all recommend, I don't usually post.

I watched their Glastonbury concert from last June on YouTube last night, and that was one of the strongest performances of the whole show. Which is saying something, given how flat out fantastic that whole set was. They were really lighting up that stage .

(Every time I see a performance from Glastonbury of any band I like, I'm that much more jealous that I don't live anywhere near that area. I'd kill to go to that festival at least once in my life)

I don't.

Except when it's used for shitty montages and covered by adult contemporary vocal competition singers, which happens all the time now.

Most of the music that I care about nobody has heard of to love or hate, so, I mean, weigh it out for yourself. You've got at least half a page of love to go with half a page of hate, so no pity. I could ask 100 people about my favorite songs and like 5 would know what they are, or ever will.

Again, it was the timing of it. Lesson learned. If a song means something and I don't want it trashed, I'll post about it elsewhere!

I'm a bit late with posting this, but I kinda lost my camera for a while during the Christmas only. Only found it again last Sunday so now I can post some pictures I took of the show on December 17th. It was a great party, though not nothing earth-shattering. But I had a fun night. Only Fix You from X&Y so that's a plus (I don't really like that album, apart from Talk which they didn't play so that was a minus).
They went all-out with special effects, a bit too much if you ask me. It started with the bracelets everyone got at the door. During some songs (including the first one) they emitted light, turning the whole arena in a coloured Milky Way. The second song had balloons coming down from the ceiling and for the third one the confetti canon went beserk.
The rest of the show was solid, with the occasional extra effect (lasers for Clocks of course).
Anyway, here are some pictures:

The grafitti-like stage backdrop

Those bracelet lights

The balloons during Yellow

Find the band...

3rd night at the Hollywood Bowl. They'll be playing there May 1st, 2nd and now on May 4th.

I'm thinking that this tour will be pretty short compared to the 160+ show Viva La Vida Tour. Any more North American dates rumored, or Latin American dates for that matter? My Plan B for now is still booking a flight to Miami to attend the June 29th show.

And, I'm surprised the setlists have been pretty short, compared to the Viva La Vida shows. Hope they add some more songs to the set once they restart the tour in April. I envy each and every one of you who will catch shows throughout the year.
