Chris Cornell, R.I.P.

[BVS]

Every time I try and type or speak my thoughts on this, I break down. I've tried several times, I've picked up my guitar and tried playing one of his songs and I couldn't get through, this one has hit me harder than any I can remember. I'm not one that gets emotional with celebrity deaths.

The band I was in for years, the song they made me try out with was 'The Day I Tried To Live', I remember how difficult the song was, learning it vocally and emotionally it was for me.

Fuck, I had so much more that I wanted to say, but I can't. I can't find the words. I can barely type, my eyes are still filled with tears.
