Broken Social Scene ARE the new Menudo!

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Well definitely "Shampoo Suicide" being that it's my favorite song of theirs and I wasn't expecting it to get played. It was a strong marathon two and a half hour set. All bases covered, typical BSS show. That sounds like I'm slighting it, but I might just be burned out on seeing them live. And although I'm still not nuts about L-Lob doing "Anthems," "All to All" was wonderful.

Why would you post the U2 one when you could post this

Broken Social Scene - "Ibi Dreams of Pavement" // "Killing In The Name" - @Queremos - @circo_voador - YouTube

Pretty shit video actually, they sound soooo much better than that.

I don't think we've heard the last from BSS, not by a long shot, but I'm pretty shattered they're going away or whatever.

good thing I saw them twice this year, they return in one form or another...but I found it kind of amusing the u2 thing, since they've taken a few jabs at them

I thought this was Kevin Drew announcing he's gonna have good sex next week?

I heard rumblings we'd get KD's second solo jaunt this year, which I'd be more than okay with as Spirit If... is way underrated.

I find it really annoying that they'd use the BSS Twitter to announce that.

But it seems like being really annoying is something they enjoy doing.

Once upon a time, I'd say these guys were easily in the top 5 most popular bands on Interference.

Best New Track.

It's a bit sad going back to the opening pages of this thread. Wish everyone was still around.

How great are these cats live, btw!

They're still one of the best live acts I've seen. I wish the whole BSS crowd would just get together for another album and tour again.
