"Bloc Party kicks out Kele Okereke?"

What the fucking fuck?

Bloc Party Kicks Out Kele Okereke? | News | Pitchfork

The guy is probably the main reason I like Bloc Party. Hope this isn't true. They really might as well just put an end to the band if this is the case.

UPDATE: Bloc Party's camp have told us that, despite reports, Kele is not being kicked out of Bloc Party. A post on the band's website claims that "Bloc Party is still Bloc Party," with a cartoon of the band drawn up as characters from "The Simpsons" and a promise to "see you soon."
Hope its not true. I was just thinking its about time for a new Bloc Party album.

I think I read somewhere that other band members denied it.

Ah, so it's been denied? Good.

I'd like to hear at least one more album from these guys. I've really enjoyed all three of their albums so far.

Apparently. I was never sure why everyone panicked when they (and the Killers) decided to go on hiatus. The band had put out three albums in a short period of time and had toured pretty extensively. A break was pretty well deserved. But I hope it doesn't become something permanent.

I'm not sure anymore. In all the articles Lissack seems to confirm that he's out. I really hope it isn't true.
