Nope. All four originals. Russell has been tweeting pics from the studio the past couple months, usually with Matt, Kele, Gordy or Russell in the background or walking out of frame. The pics have been mostly focused on their instruments.

I love Bloc, but . . . sorry, not this song. It's not their worst, but for me, it's definitely in the bottom half.

I like Intimacy and Weekend in the City. Don't love either.

Silent Alarm on the other hand is in my top 10 or 15 for the decade.

And Kele's always kept his sexuality ambiguous, no? I remember maybe reading somewhere that he hasn't really let on because it shouldn't be an issue/talking point, since it's irrelevant.

He was quite talkative to me when I met him. Of course, that could have been the glass of wine he was drinking at the time, and the fact that he didn't know I'm a journalist. We mostly talked about touring, and what places he liked the most.

I've always found Sunday to be a boring song. Still think that the first part is, but man, the climax is breathtaking.

There were 22 songs recorded for A Weekend In The City. It easily could've been a double album. Disc 1 - "Saturday"; Disc 2 - "Sunday".


They missed the boat.

The b-side collection, Another Weekend in the City, which I think is fan-made, is fantastic, in my revered opinion.

Not only were there so many b-sides for that album, but they were all pretty damn good, if not great. There really was not a lot of filler. Crazy creative period for them.
