Bikini Kill is a highly influential riot grrrl act from the '90s with which/whom I'm hardly at all familiar. They're from Washington state (where else?), and featured Kathleen Hanna of, eventually, Le Tigre. Billy Karen, a man (!), played guitar. Lots of notable feminist musicians were in Bikini Kill, and this is a band I've always wanted to get into, but never actually have.

And that's got nothing, really, to do with my not liking what little I've heard. I wonder if anybody here can perhaps point me in the right direction? Where should I start? What should I perhaps avoid, coming out of the gates? Is the whole catalogue as great as "In Accordance to Natural Law"? Help a brother, and hopefully a few sisters or two, as well, out?
