Yeah, I've got a big ol' top albums of the decade list that I made up a little while back. I'd be down with a Best of the Decade thread.

Yeah, a separate thread for that kind of thing would be best. For some reason I thought there already was one of those threads. May be it was just a link to a website or magazine that did their best of the decade list, and some people had posted their lists there. Maybe I'm crazy.

Awesome pick re: Bloodless though I adore that song.

37. Fruit Bats - "Primitive Man"
36. Charles Spearin - "Vanessa"
35. Here We Go Magic - "Fangela"
34. Andrew Bird - "Anonanimal"
33. Karen O and the Kids - "All is Love"
32. Shuttlecock - "No Net on the Horizon"
31. Girls - "Hellhole Ratrace"

I also feel like including my top five favorite music videos of the year:

#5

#4

#3 would be the very NSFW video for "Watching the Planets." It's not on the You Tubes, though, for obvious reasons.

#2

Yeah, I wasn't sure about whether or not to include them, but those two were such strong works, stronger than a lot of full-length albums I heard this year. Plus, I didn't listen to enough EPs on their own to make a separate EP list.

Also, I approve of how highly "Bad Romance" appears on your list.

Couldn't even find room for Courts of Lebanon, huh?

"Choose your opponents carefully ‘cos they will complete you
Make them challenging cos some days they will beat you
They’re not there in the beginning but when your story falters
Gonna last with you longer than your partner"

Yes, as I recall from the Green Day thread, this was one we didn't agree on.

Has big enough holes not to be in my Top 20, but also has very good stretches that make it a decent record still.
