Definitely. I don't know why we never talked about it. I think I brought it up in Random once, but you know how things tend to go in there.

I checked out that Girls album after hearing so much about it. I didn't get it.

It's certainly not for everyone. I've created some great memories with it, so there's a good chance I'm overrating it. It just makes me smile at this point, and I find it a sunny, happy listen. I like the old school feel of it. Wish I didn't get to my LC! show late, because they opened.

Similar problem for Actor given my undying love of Annie Clark, I guess.

I keep forgetting that Andrew Bird album came out this year - it feels like it came out ages ago.

This thread, by the way, has led me to check out a lot of music I missed. Some of it I really didn't like, but I found a few for the Amazon wish list.

So thanks, everyone!

The Girls album is definitely a grower. I do love the first two tracks though.

If you don't immediately fall in love with "Hellhole Ratrace," well I really can't help you.

"Hellhole Ratrace" is fantastic. One of those melodies that seems like it's just been around forever.

Is anyone else interested in listing favorite stuff from the decade? I have a rough list of fave songs and albums. I know Dalton just posted his here, but should we start a new thread for that?
