Wire.

Best: Chairs Missing
Worst: Manscape

I dunno. This band can do no wrong and their recent stuff is quite good, occasionally great, even.

Because you're all so lovable, here's the complete rundown thus far. Interestingly, nobody actually gave a Best/Worst for Pavement despite the heated discussion that ensued.

Also, had no idea which Bowie/Eno collaboration was so hated by cobl, so I listed both Lodger and Heroes.

Arcade Fire (Funeral, Neon Bible)
The Beatles (Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/Abbey Road, Beatles For Sale)
Beck (Odelay, Guero)
Bob Dylan (Blood On The Tracks, jesus years albums)
Bjork (Post, Biophilia)
Blur (Parklife, Leisure)
Bravery (The Bravery, Stir The Blood)
Bruce Springsteen (Born To Run, Human Touch)
Carole King (Tapestry, Speeding Time)
Cat Power (You Are Free, Jukebox)
Clash (The Clash, Combat Rock)
Coldplay (Viva La Vida, X&Y)
Creed (My Own Prison, Full Circle)
Cure (Disintegration, The Cure)
David Bowie (Aladdin Sane, Hours)
David Bowie.2 (Aladdin Sane, Lodger or Heroes?)
Depeche Mode (Violator, Exciter)
Depeche Mode.2 (Violator, A Broken Frame)
Elliott Smith (Either/Or, Roman Candle or Figure 8)
Elton John (Tumbleweed Connection, The Big Picture)
Flaming Lips (Soft Bulletin, Transmissions From The Satellite Heart)
Guided By Voices (Bee Thousand, Vampire on Titus)
Interpol (Turn On The Bright Lights, Interpol)
Jimi Hendrix (Axis: Bold As Love, Are You Experienced?)
Kanye West (Graduation, The College Dropout)
Kills (Keep On Your Mean Side, Midnight Bloom)
Kraftwerk (Trans-Europe Express, Kraftwerk)
Led Zeppelin (Houses of the Holy, Presence)
LCD Soundsystem (Sound of Silver, This Is Happening)
LCD Soundsystem.2 (LCD Soundsystem, This Is Happening)
M83 (Hurry Up We're Dreaming, Digital Shades Vol 1)
Miles Davis (Kind Of Blue, Quiet Nights)
Modest Mouse (Moon and Antarctica, none)
Muse (Origin of Symmetry, The Resistance)
National (Alligator, National)
Nick Cave (Dig Lazarus Dig!!, Murder Ballads)
Outkast (Aquemini, Speakerboxx/The Love Below > Idlewild)
Patti Smith (Easter, Gung Ho)
Pearl Jam (Vs, Backspacer)
Phoenix (Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, Alphabetical)
Portishead (Portishead, Third)
Pink Floyd (Animals, A Momentary Lapse of Reason)
R.E.M. (Automatic For The People, Around The Sun)
Replacements (Pleased To Meet Me, Sorry Ma Forgot To Take Out The Trash)
Rolling Stones (Beggars Banquet, Dirty Work)
Shins (Oh Inverted World, Port Of Morrow)
Smiths (Queen Is Dead, Strangeways Here We Come)
Soundgarden (Badmotorfinger, Down On The Upside)
Stone Temple Pilots (Core, No. 4)
Sufjan Stevens (Illinois, The Age of Adz)
Talking Heads (Remain In Light, True Stories)
White Stripes (De Stijl, White Stripes)

Fair enough if you like Sell Out, but how can you like it more than Quadrophenia? It's so good...

Quadrophenia is too long and emotionally draining to listen to more than once every 6 months or so, I'd take Who's Next over it anyway.

Gorillaz

Best: Demon Days (I dunno, I've just heard it the most)
Worst: Gorillaz (inconsistent and lacking a clear thematic conceit to keep the pieces together, but it's still enjoyable)

Explosions In The Sky

Demon Days is probably second to Plastic Beach, but both albums have miserable back ends. Albarn really has no idea how to end an album.

Yeah, it's not like this is a B&C poll. Just some random opinions mostly.

I thought that Demon Days ended pretty well, with the exception of "Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head". "Dare", "Don't Get Lost in Heaven", and "Demon Days" are all strong songs. It's a shame that "November Has Come", "All Alone", and "White Light" kill the momentum for the second half.

Yeah, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the way Demon Days ends. The middle is the weak portion, if anything.
