I just discovered these guys on Conan last night and I'm blown away. I haven't been excited about music these days but these guys have been the remedy. They did "No One's Gonna Love You".....wow! I sure hope they get up here sometime soon.

^they toured Canada last fall but I missed it.

Pick up their first album, Everything All The Time, it's great!. Their second album, Cease To Begin, is also a collection of musical goodness.

A coworker burned Cease to Begin for me, and I did not listen for a few months. My loss, it's fantastic.

I blew this band off for a while as well. There was just so much good music in 2007 that they kind of got lost in the shuffle for me.

Well, I'm listening now, and yeah, my loss too. Good stuff.

The Funeral is a wonderful song. 'Tis the only song I've heard by these guys, though. I will correct that error someday. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life...

Sadly, to some extent it's still one of the very few worth hearing. Both of their albums are unbelievably heavy on the filler side of things for my tastes.
