I thought it would be helpful to consolidate new album release info into a calender format since I tend to forget when things are coming out.

I'll post a new release calender in this thread and then update it periodically when new info becomes available. Please post in this thread if there are albums you want added to the list or if you have more specific info on album titles and/or release dates. I'll try to do a big update in a few days and then once a week or so to catch up with new announcements.

I'll also be scouring the other B&C threads and adding albums that people seem to be interested in.

They do one-off gigs relatively often, but still, fingers crossed.

But this is interesting:

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! We hope 2013 is getting off to a great start for you. Thanks so much to those of you who were able to join us for All Tomorrow's Parties in December. We had a blast and felt very fortunate to have so many of our favorite musicians in the same place for a weekend. Last year we took some time off at home and started work on a new album, which will come out later this year (we'll have more details on that soon). For now we wanted to let you know about tickets for one of our first shows of 2013 - we'll be playing at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, NY on June 5th. One of our favorite new bands, Youth Lagoon, will open the show. A pre-sale for fans starts tomorrow, January 16th, at 11 am EST. The link for tickets is: http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00004A2ADCE1A3F3 and the password for early purchase is AmericanMary. The general on sale is Friday, January 18th at 11 am. We're very excited to play this new room in Brooklyn not far from where we live.

We'd also like to invite you to a brand new version of the American Mary forum which is now living at http://americanmaryforum.com. Mark, our lovely forum moderator, and some of our web design team have worked together to create a new place to talk about goings on with The National, other bands you love, and anything else that's on your mind. Board regulars, we're pleased that this new forum is independent of third party message board platforms, so no one will change things in a way that makes you unhappy. The old board is archived from the web site because we couldn't let all of your genius ideas, like Nationary, be lost forever.

Have a great day & we'll have more news for you soon!

How To Destroy Angels - Welcome Oblivion (March 5th)
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Specter At The Feast (March 19th)
Neil Finn - TBA (late 2013)

I admittedly was extremely disappointed in their last album, so I likely wasn't paying close attention. Regardless, still love the first 4.

Black = evil color
Rebel = rule breakers
Motorcycle = vehicle of the devil
Club = only organized church groups are approved by the religious athorities
