Using a very low estimate ($10 per album), I will likely be spending near $300 on music if I only buy the albums listed above that I'm interested in (which I know I'll end up getting more than that).

And db's update still doesn't include the bad religion album. That, plus the tbd'd national and pearl jam are just about all I'm really interested in, and pearl jam I'm not so interested in record-wise but about a tour which would accompany it.

Ok, I take that back. There's about six other things that I'll at least be checking out.

Oh shit, the 22nd was the other day already. I thought it was next week. I should probably go pay the gas and electric bills. And go buy that album.

Yes. It's good. A bit more frenetic than the last album, but the thematic coherence is intense. It's not a concept album of course, but the way the closing two songs expand on the metaphor of the opening title track, to say nothing of the way they work together, is just awesome.

Cool. I liked the last one quite a bit. Then again, there are very few bad religion albums I haven't loved.

I enjoyed the last album as well, but, and we've had a version of this conversation regarding Rancid, it feels too long to me. It's that any song on its own is bad; I just lose interest for most things that go on for 16 similar sounding songs.

I always do :(
Sorry about that.

No, I was honestly asking if it was Editors or The Editors, because sometimes you get these Smashing Pumpkins situations.

Spelling your name wrong was solely due to responding while driving and trying to use voice to text.

It appears that I neglected Tegan and Sara's Heartthrob, which is out today.

Also, it looks like Thao & the Get Down Stay Down is already available on iTunes.

Sweet. I loved their last album.

Not tegan and Sara... :shudder:
