Lloyd Cole has a new album called Standards coming out June 21st in mainland Europe, June 24th in the UK. A date for the rest of the world hasn't been announced yet, but might be July 2.

Other than Kanye, there's not a single thing on that confirmed date list that I'm super excited about.

Hopefully some of those TBAs get confirmed dates soon.

2013's been awesome already, though. But yeah. Seems a bit of a drop-off over the next couple months.

Apparently it will have 6 original songs. I'm jazzed as the dickens to hear their take on Christmas. Especially recording the album around Easter time.

Anyways, I'm disappointed, but if it gives them an excuse to tour (which the site says they plan to do next year) than so be it! I still haven't seen them live and you wouldn't believe how badly I want to.
