If Peef had conducted this poll in EYKIW, it would have taken up the first three spots.

Wow, Decemberists and Cults did pretty crappily, considering. Not a lot of high placements for either, I guess.

Thrilled to see that Empros made the cut!

Wow, Empros made it? Nice, even if over half of its points were from me.

4. Washed Out - Within and Without (92 points, 12 votes)

Looks like Radiohead's crisis has been averted. That top 5 placement has to be the biggest surprise so far.

Think I'll give Girls' album a third try. I don't get what the big deal is, but I don't want it to be for lack of trying.

Didn't think Washed Out would get all the way to fourth. Cool.

Yeeeaaaaahhhhh...so much for Strange Mercy not receiving any love. iYup knows 3rd century Mediterranean anthropology, but he can't count.

Kaputt IS a better album than Hurry Up We're Dreaming, if only marginally, so I'm cool with this.

Thanks for running this, Peef Ericson. You done good. As did the rest of us, lack of House of Balloons aside. :(

Wow, I'm incredibly surprised at that placement. I don't remember seeing it in the top ten of any list besides mine, but it must have been there somewhere.

 Indeed, indeed. I really thought that M83 had the thing wrapped. It had so many first-place votes. I've got to say that I am really pleased with Destroyer at number one. It's a highly-deserving album.

Nice work, Peef. We owe you some drinks.

LOL @ Radiohead's placement.

Also, if you haven't heard Tom Waits' album, punch yourself in the face. If you have, and didn't include it on your list, stab yourself in the ear with a pencil.
