Mr. Cox does it again folks. this album is fantastic, some of his best work.

Will try to hear this tonight, or tomorrow afternoon at the latest. Logos was sick.

Looking forward to it, though I have not been quite as fond of his Atlas Sound material as I have of Deerhunter albums.

i'd say this album has the most song structure of any of his Atlas Sound work. probably the most accessible. some of his best vocals for sure.

Walkabout > most Deerhunter songs IMO, though I would agree Microcastle and Halcyon Digest reign supreme.

Really loved Deerhunter live, Bradford Cox was ill but he fought through it and delivered a great performance. Does he have separate Atlas Sound tours?

I think they have separate tours. Not entirely sure though.

Hmm. This is good, but a little sleepy. Not much about it jumped out on first listen, but Halcyon Digest had the same problem and I love that one now.

Reviews on this thing so far have been laudatory: 8.7 from Pitchfork and a 9 from PopMatters, for example.
