Rileybug - wow, that's a huge amount. Most of those are really great. Coffee Prince really messes with your perception of things!

I also love alan. She's from Tibet, and her family name is what she uses for a stage name. She sings in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and has a song or something in her native Tibetan.
I think she sung the theme song to John Woo's Red Cliff (which is a spectacular action movie) - and yes she is really tiny!

That Ergo Proxy song was great - much darker than the normal J-rock I hear, unique vibe and atmosphere, can't really put my finger on it.

She sang the theme to both parts...and, naturally, was awesome.

YouTube - ‪JASMINE - Jealous PV‬‏

I just looked her up - Jasmine has some pretty catchy beats and crazy music videos!
Nice to hear a Jpop singer whose voice isn't so nasal, she reminds me of Utada...

solemole, what's the name of that band? is a lot of chinese rock like this song? really interesting to see another chinese rock band after Brain Damage.

and.. is your location (in a series of dreams) a Bob Dylan reference to "Series of Dreams?"

Solo artist: A-Yue.

Not a lot of chinese rock in general are like this (AFAIK), most Chinese rock I've heard in my travels are cheezy 80s pop.

Google the artist. There's also amusing Youtube videos of white guys karaoking at home to his music.

And, yes in regards to Bob Dylan.

Off topic, but "Series of Dreams" is one of my absolute favorite Dylan tracks.

Daniel Lanois produced that song, it sounds like Dylan meets "Where The Streets Have No Name."

And back to Asian pop!
