Welcome to the Thirteenth Round (that's right only 7 matches left now) of the Artist League, just a quick recap on the rules before I give you today's fixtures.
To give a result for a match you simple write down the score you want to give the match to the right of the fixture (e.g. U2 vs The Smiths 2-2).
You can select any result from 0-0 to 3-3 (if you do not know the bands please select 0-0)
When giving your results a win by 1 means you like an artist more, a win by 2 you like an artist a lot more and a win by 3 means there is no comparison between the two (however this is just a guideline, you may vote anyway you wish)
Strategic Voting is fine e.g. if the match is U2 vs Wilco and you think both bands are equal but know U2 will do much better it is fine to give a 3-0 to Wilco to try to make the match a draw overall.
It would be easier for me in counting the results if you give a result for each match, if you don't like the bands just go with a 0-0 and move on to the next match up.
There is no requirement of prior participation in the competition so if you feel like joining in now for the first time go right ahead and take part,and if you have any questions about how this works don't be afraid to ask.

Led Zeppelin (7th) vs The National (20th) - As the season draws to a close the National are still looking for their first point; hoping that they will not finish the season with a defeat in every game. Led Zeppelin on the other hand are in need of a win today if they are to have any hope of making a late title challenge.
Coldplay (17th) vs Crowded House (18th) - Both bands currently lying on the edge of the relegation zone and both know a win could easily take one of them out of the drop zone; a game neither band can afford to lose.
Championship:
Bright Eyes (17th) vs Ryan Adams (19th) - Two relegation contenders face off; Bright Eyes know even a draw could be enough to see them out of the relegation zone while Ryan Adams still looks for his first victory of the season; hoping that if he gets it he'll be able to build on it
The Kinks (5th) vs Depeche Mode (6th) - Both bands go into this game on equal points and just two points from the promotion zone; neither can afford to drop a point if they hope to stay in the promotion race
Peter Gabriel (4th) vs Elbow (18th) - Peter Gabriel goes into today's match knowing that three other bands are looking to take his position if he loses today, and that anything but a win could hurt his promotion chances greatly. Elbow on the other hand are still looking for their first win (despite already managing 5 draws) and a way out of the relegation zone
Third Division A:
Sam Cooke (16th) vs The Dresden Dolls (17th) - Both Artists lie on the verge of being knocked out of the competition completely as they lie just two and one positions above the complete relegation zone
Queen (1st) vs Beck (5th) - The unbeatable Queen go up against promotion contender Beck today. Queen who have easily dismissed every band they've encountered so far are easily on course to promotion and possibly even the league title; while Beck on the other hand needs a win today to stay in the promotion race.
Third Division B:
Catherine Wheel (16th) vs Pulp (17th) - Two bands who on the edge of the drop zone face off today, both knowing a lose for either of them could see them dropping back down into relegation territory.
Jacques Brel (19th) vs The Doors (4th) - A lose of Jacques Brel today could see him be almost certainly relegated to the Fourth Division next season; while The Doors are in desperate need of a win today if they are to gain promotion to the Championship.
Avril Lavigne (20th) vs Elvis (7th) - Last placed Avril could see herself 99% sure of being relegated to the Fourth Division next season if she loses today; while Elvis can't afford to drop another point if he is to make it back into the promotion race
