Welcome to the Tenth Round (and the halfway point) of the Artist League, just a quick recap on the rules before I give you today's fixtures.
To give a result for a match you simple write down the score you want to give the match to the right of the fixture (e.g. U2 vs The Smiths 2-2).
You can select any result from 0-0 to 3-3 (if you do not know the bands please select 0-0)
When giving your results a win by 1 means you like an artist more, a win by 2 you like an artist a lot more and a win by 3 means there is no comparison between the two (however this is just a guideline, you may vote anyway you wish)
Strategic Voting is fine e.g. if the match is U2 vs Wilco and you think both bands are equal but know U2 will do much better it is fine to give a 3-0 to Wilco to try to make the match a draw overall.
It would be easier for me in counting the results if you give a result for each match, if you don't like the bands just go with a 0-0 and move on to the next match up.
There is no requirement of prior participation in the competition so if you feel like joining in now for the first time go right ahead and take part, I encourage it
This match up will last for 72 hours that means that it will end at 11pm on Monday, so make sure you have your results in by then.

Premier:
The National (18th) vs Coldplay (17th) - Both bands are stuck in the relegation zone and are currently pointless with half the season already gone by; both bands will be looking for a win to bring them closer to getting out of the relegation zone
Crowded House (19th) vs Porcupine Tree (20th) - The two bands lining the bottom of the table, both bands are yet to gain a single point. Both bands are in desperate need of a win, a draw will do neither of them much good
Bruce Springsteen (3rd) vs Radiohead (5th) - The battle for third place in the league hits up today with both bands hoping to finish the round in 3rd; and Bruce hoping to close in on the divisions leaders or at least not fall any more behind.
Championship:
Tom Petty (5th) vs The Kinks (7th) - Both bands go into today's match knowing a win could bring them into the promotion zone; and at this point of the season every point is really starting to count.
Elbow (17th) vs The Shadows (20th) - Both bands go into this match without a single win to either of their names and both are stuck in the relegation zone. A win for the Shadows will mean their first points of the season, a win for Elbow could see them left themselves out of the relegation zone and into a safe position
Depeche Mode (6th) vs Bob Dylan (2nd) - Depeche Mode go into this game knowing a win could see them into the promotion zone; Dylan goes into this match unbeaten and with the possibility of taking the lead in the Championship
Third Division A:
Queen (1st) vs Nouvelle Vague (17th) - Queen go into today's match with a 9 game winning streak, Nouvelle Vague go into the match without a single win in nine games. Can Nouvelle Vague somehow break their streak and topple Queen?
Elvis Costello (2nd) vs Van Halen (9th) - Elvis Costello goes into today's match unbeaten and hoping that a win today can bring him closer to catching league leaders Queen or at least help secure his promotion place. Van Halen instead are hoping to prove that they are not out of the promotion race yet with a win today.
Frank Sinatra (3rd) vs Pure Reason Revolution (16th) - Frank Sinatra goes into today's match still unbeaten after nine games and hoping that he can get up into the promotion zone with a win today; Pure Reason Revolution need to gain some points today in order to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
Third Division B:
Jimi Hendrix (3rd) vs Jacques Brel (20th) - Jacques Brel still remains the only competitor in the competition to not yet score a single goal; and his streak looks to continue today as he goes up against the unbeaten Hendrix who is currently chasing a promotion position.
Avril Lavigne (19th) vs John Lennon (2nd) - The unbeaten promotion contender John Lennon goes up against Avril who still is chasing her first victory of the season; could this prove to be an upset?
