YouTube - The Late Show Musical Guest Andew Bird 1/27/09 [HQ]

Seems like Letterman pretty much loved the performance.

Okay, I've watched both of these videos and I love him.

I'm so glad I got a ticket. I'm buying CDs tomorrow.

Seeing as how he wears a suit & tie and all, I may have to wear something pretty.

Just got my Noble Beast CD in the mail today. The instrumentals are amazing. Hot Math is indeed amazing. Nyatiti is great too. My first impressions with the album couldn't be better.

For those who like the instrumental stuff, be sure to pick up Ballad of The Red Shoes.

and if for some reason you're not already subscribed to NPR's All Songs Considered, here's a direct link to the Bird show at the 930 club in DC: Andrew Bird In Concert With Loney Dear : NPR Music
