I know music is subjective and all but I have never met anyone with good taste who does not like Pyramid Song. Top five Radiohead for me. And the video would be one of my favourites by any artist.

I really like Amnesiac front to end even with its little indulgences (and yea, they are many)... but not in a way that would involve putting it on an albums list. That whole period including the bsides, hell yeah... maybe we should take a listing of 'Kid A' to implicitly include all that other stuff.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

I prefer Amnesiac to Kid A, so it's not a package deal for me. Even if everything is from the same sessions.

Yes. Unless you ask the person who started the thread.

I was actually surprised how many of my list were hip-hop albums. Really reminded me of how strongly the early-mid 90s were for hip-hop. A lot of good albums.

Also Ax if you think 96 sucked I'd suggest DJ Shadow's Endtroducing. I actually think you'd quite like it.

1996 had:
Palace Music – Arise, Therefore
Jon Spencer Blues Explosion – Now I Got Worry
Aphex Twin – Richard D. James Album
Lambchop – How I Quit Smoking
Underworld – Second Toughest in the Infants
Guided By Voices – Under the Bushes Under the Stars
DJ Shadow – Endtroducing
Belle & Sebastian – If You're Feeling Sinister

The first 4 are more than likely to show up in my top 25 albums ever list.
The others would be in the top 3 albums list of just about any other year.

Noir Désir - 666.667 Club is a great one from 1996. Just barely missed my list.
