I even talked people into the Red Rocks show, but then all of us were lazy and didn't plan it. Oh wellz.

Sing For The Submarine is really great...I also like Mr. Richards a lot.

Hollow man and dj are the only kinda weak tracks for me, but still pretty good

Yeah... I think it's his vocals. Especially Man Sized Wreath. Reeeally don't like it.

Why do torrents gotta be so damned confusing??

Oh man, how can you not like Man Sized Wreath?!

throw it on the fire, throw it in the air
kick it out on the dance floor like you just don't care!!!

I still fucking love this album!

Anyway, here are some pics from last night...

These are the best ones. The first couple are from when I was able to get closer to the stage, stand in the aisle and take pics. Still they are blurry cos my camera sucks.

Right after I'm Gonna DJ and just before the encore

I believe Johnny Marr is on stage in this last pic

Btw, boy did Stipe bash the shit out of the Bush Administration once again!! He also mentioned the last time they performed at MSG (I was there! ) was right after Bush had won his 2nd term in 2004, and he remembered it as a horrible day that they somehow got thru.

Anyway, another random thing I want to add is... after seeing U2, it feels like every rock concert needs a GA standing section! No? If you were directly in front and that close to the stage, why the hell would you wanna sit at all??? I can understand if you're old or weak but I'm guessing if you're old and weak, you wouldn't bother with front row!

I was thinking about something else today but it's not coming to me right now. So I'll leave it at that for now.

They are planning a second US leg for the fall, so there may well be a Utah date since there was one on the last tour.

Someone mentioned two versions of a recent show on Dime and that the second recording was better. Are you talking about the 6/18/08 show?

I hope so, because that's the one I just downloaded.

I don't know if it was you - were you talking about torrents of REM shows on Dime and how the second version uploaded of xxx show was the better one? If so, then yes, I guess I'm talking to you.

Awesome, it was definitely the Schoeps source I just picked up. Thanks!

I was too lazy to scroll back a few pages and find the post to quote it.

I just downloaded the Philly show as well.

What a cool setlist. Awesome to hear Vedder do Begin The Begin again,
Turn You Inside Out, Wolves Lower, Find The River, Let Me In, and Life and How To Live It were great.

Interesting they slowed down the chorus of Staring Down The Barrel...from the Dublin shows. I think I like the Dublin version better. I wonder if this song will make it onto an album or single at some point

Oh never mind then. I don't use torrents. The one time I tried them, it took too long and I lost patience.
