The promo CDS for Supernatural Superserious has, though, and it contains a non-album B-side, Airliner.

Just do a blog search and you'll find it.

I haven't downloaded since I'm still at work, but hopefully it will still be there later tonight.

The Flaming Lips are playing, too?

Well, that makes it more tempting. I wonder how much tickets are? And if sleeping in my car might make it okay.

Maybe you can go with Dennis Kucinich.

He used to sleep in his car.

I'd invite him, but his wife would probably beat me up.

Flaming Lips eh? I'm in need of another Lips fix...

(Can I justify another plane ticket specifically to see the Lips...and R.E.M.? )

Ohhhhh, and it's a UFO show from the Flaming Lips!!!! Cori, you should really try to go...the UFO is a spectacle to see for sure.

Tickets are $56.50 per day for the first on-sale weekend, or $154.50 for a three day pass.

Same here. I'm Gonna DJ does very little for me, but I'm very excited about the album as a whole. I've been listening to R.E.M. almost as much as U2 lately in anticipation of it.

I've been listening to R.E.M. waaaay more than anything else the last year or so as you can see:

http://www.last.fm/user/U2inUtah/

Funny thing is I hardly listened to much R.E.M. before about 2006, but the Dublin shows reinvigorated my interest in R.E.M., that and discovering how good their first five albums were.

Listening to the Dublin shows, I'm disappointed Staring Down The Barrel Of The Middle Distance didn't make the cut.
I'm ready for Accelerate to leak.

On the cover of Q and Hotpress this month. The q one is pretty revealing. Basically said they been pretty much fighting for the last 10 years. Good to see they're out of that! I think!

Another few weeks to go now for the album!

I can't remember the last time I wanted so badly to steal an album over the internet. By the way, I love what I've heard of I'm Gonna DJ.

Getting impatient?

Some early reviews have been promising. I hope it's a good sign.

I thought I heard on the radio that they were playing small clubs this time? Or was I imagining things?

The only time I saw REM was on the Vote For Change tour when they played with Springsteen and the E Street Band.

I wish they were sticking to smaller places. Last time around, they played the Maccaw Hall opera house in Seattle, and it was GLORIOUS. Great seats, great sound, not all this bullshit festival stuff or having to cross international borders to see them.

(Yes, I'm still grumpy about my options this time around. )

Baby, instant soup doesnt really grab me.

Today I need something more sub-sub-sub-substantial.

A can of beans or blackeyed peas, some nescafe and ice...

A candy bar! A falling star! Or a reading of doctor seuss!!!!!!!

Call me when this album leaks.
