My favorite era of music. I was 11 in 1992, the age of music discovery was a great one for me. Just wanted to make a thread to immortalized the great songs of the era and forgotten gems.

I'd like to post two of my favourites from Australian bands. Both of these songs are bona fide classics but don't enjoy much if any popularity outside of this country

I fucking love this song.

I love everything about it; the grunge-y guitar, the synths, the drums, the drugged-out, hazy hip-hop vibe, slightly distorted male vocals, female vocals doing the chorus, all the little samples, the film clip, the lyrics, the video clip, it's perfect.

I was bitterly disappointed to discover they don't have much else good going for them outside of this song.

The category is somewhat vague, but I guess there's a bit of freedom here.

Late 90s Midnight Oil fits in well here.

Have to throw in a Kent song too, why not.

Whenever I hear that Butthole Surfers song, I expect it to go into the chorus of Beck's "Loser."

The only thing I know about Butthole Surfers is that Shouter hated the Flaming Lips because he thought they were a shitty rip off of them.

I once saw the Flaming Lips open for The Butthole Surfers.

Pepper is not necessarily a good representation of them...
