The muses were doing well and good during this era. Get out your petasos and chiton and rock the fuck on like old times!

1. Anydga of Syria - Hurrian Hymn

3. Demetrios "Silenos" Athenides and the Good Time Satyrs - Daimonos

5. Harem of Rammeses II - Doing Kemetic Movement

I've found this stuff to be amazing over the last few months, actually, but I know I'm a bit weird.

"Anydga of Syria" was a new song when John McCain danced to it at his Prom.

Weird is a relative term.

Maybe on interference, some could deem you to be weird.

But, in Ásgarðr, I'm guessing that you blend.

I know some people think that 400-800 had some cooler tunes, but personally I thought that was kind of a dark age for music. I much prefer this stuff.

It was the heydey of the lute, which warrants mentioning. Sting tried to bring it back, that's why he's in the superior 1975-1985 thread, where all of the creativity and ethereal lies.
