My Nephew

I'd like to ask for your prayers tonight. My nephew, Spencer, who is 1 year old (almost 2) is in the ICU tonight. He somehow managed to get into his mom's purse and open a prescription bottle of drugs and ate them. I still can't believe this is real... you always hear about this sort of thing happening...but it's a reality check when it happens to you.

Thank you for the prayers and well wishes!! Spencer came home tonight. ( Thank the Lord! ) He's still a little loopy, and I suspect he'll have a bit of a hangover, but he's going to be okay! Today while we were at the hospital we discovered how he got into the bottle. It was to be a child resistant lid and we found out the hard way that it was not. My sis is going to the pharmacy tomorrow to let them know about the defect. grrrr

He's okay though and that's all that matters. Thanks again for your prayers!
