I'm reading the book "The Accident" by Elie Wiesel right now. He also wrote the book "Night" which if you haven't read it, READ IT!!! It's his memoirs of being in Auschwitz. So "The Accident" is not about him necessarily, but the character and he DO share a lot in common. There's a number of lines in this book that I have found to be interesting which may stimulate some discussion around here. The first of which is:
(on the subject of how to thank God)
"I had not been able to understand for a long time what in the world God had done to deserve man."
