If I have a Polish question but can't say it in Polish can I ask it in here anyway?

I've a friend who speaks Polish -- may we help ya?

BTW, your question thet title of this thread is tooo great!

Well really what I'm looking to find out is what makes good kolocky good? Is it the cookie part and what should it be like? Should it be more of a dry cookie or what? And then the filling is another issue. So yeah, that's my question. And trust me, I have more random Polish questions at any given moment. I could really use more Polish friends online for when I have a late night random question.

hmmm... if I only knew what you meant by 'kolocky' I would gladly help... I'm staring at the above searching my memory for something called 'kolocky' and have no idea what are you talking about... (but maybe it's because as I'm wildly known for not having any culinary skills whatsoever...

shoot me!
and if you describe the first one in more details, maybe someone here will help...

maybe I cannot cook but I surely know Polish dishes.... at least the tasty ones - and this one looks tasty...

I've seen those before but I wouldn't bet it's a Polish delicacy - I would rather bet on Chech or Slovakian origin.
