Because for a long time a lot of people have identify us and our music with that stupid song by "Los del R?o". I think in Madrid it wouldn't have been such a 'catastrophe' (poor Edge!). Barcelona is from Catalu?a, you know, and they don't want to be considered part of Spain and less the Spain is reflected in that song. It is the modernity capital of here, and that song is one of the most hated songs here, it is old-fashioned, grotty and silly.
You know what I mean? If I could explain that in Spanish I would do it better, well, i've tried!
