Ca bhfuil na Gaelgoiri imithe?

An bfhuil an Gaeilge ar a thoil ag einne anseo? Bhi posta sa seomra seo as Ghailge ach ta se imithe anois, ceapaim. Taim cinnt go bhfuil cupla Eireannaigh timpeall anseo agus ta a fhois agam go bfhuil daoine eigin mar Aine agus EScorpio ag deanamh iarracht an Gaeilge a fhoghlaim. Is rud iontach e a fheiceann an meid sin teangacha ach ta bron orm nach bhfuil an Gaeilge ann in aon chor. Ar aon nos, dar liom is e an Gaeilge an teanga is alainne san domhain inniu. Is brea liom e a labhairt, a scriobh, agus a eist agus ta a fhios agaim go bhfuil mo chuid Gaeilge go h-uafasach ar fad ach is cuma liom. Nilim cinnte da bhfuil na baille de U2 abalta an Gaeilge a labhairt, mbheadh mor iontas orm da raibh siad abalta.

An bhfuil einne ann ce a bhfuil an duil acu an gaeilge a labhairt?

D(h)ia duit,a U.2.R.O.K!
Your epic looks very impressive, and I even
managed to spot my name there,as well as
Scorpio's,but what does all this actually mean? Because I studied Irish history at Uni,
but my knowledge of this wonderful language's
really very limited.
Slan!
PS I know this is a rather stupid question, but are you as good at spoken Gaeilge?

Dia is muire duit a Aine

I was just asking where the irish speakers had gone, such as yourself and emerald scorpio, and whether there was anyone else who could speak any irish ....... don't be fooled, my irish is pretty bad to be honest but i like to try ........... how did you end up studying Irish history, if u don't mind me asking? I am ok at spoken Irish, but as you could guess, i dont get much of a chance to practice it, unless i went out to the gaeltachts in Connemara for a few months or so

Dia duit,
Conas ata tu ? Me,ta me go maith.
I suspect you're just being modest,but even
if your Irish is bad I won't know!
Oh,and Irish history...it came so naturally
to me,it was so appealing,as I often say it
was a love at first sight.(Actually you may
get some idea from Rus/Irish U2ers in Discotheque).I always wanted to go to the
Irish West,but haven't made it yet.Where are
you from ?
Now,I feel like I fail to fit this thread by
speaking so much English,so I'd better stop
Slan agat!
