It's Official: The new receiver box looks like HAL

I just got DirecTV installed in my room yesterday and the blue light circle in the middle reminds me of HAL from 2001. Sure it's not red... or black... or talks... but it sure as hell reminds me of him.

It's fun as hell pretending to talk to it though:

I got the same freaking box a few days ago and I hate it!
It is NOTHING compared to the older HD TiVo unit I had before. Some of the old features are not included on this one.
