Note to all fisherman out there (including my man :tongue: )

When you've finished smoking fish, eaten the meat and only the head is left.....CLEAN THE BLOODY REMAINS OUT OF THE SMOKER!! And don't, as my man did, leave it there to rot over the past 2 weeks (at the end of summer). I was away when he smoked it and didn't know anything other than for the last week I was sure something had died in our backyard. And I've officially NEVER seen maggots in the quantity and size of what we had!!! :yuck: Fear Factor, eat your heart out!!!

Any maggot storys to share? :yikes:
 
I hate it when people don't clean out my smoker.

I mean, I'm sure I would hate it if I had a smoker.

rotting fish guts in my hypothetical smoker is one of my biggest concerns...

I think if I had a smoker, I would smoke other things like shoes and lamps and stuff... just for the hell of it, that would rule.
