Wilt and Fade Away

I sit in my own world,
I hate,
I pity,
I love,
How can I blame you for making me this way?
You set me on a pedestal,
I couldn't hear their cries of pain,
Nobody came for me,
You left me here,
High on a regal throne,
To wilt and fade away.

And if you look, you look through me.

White Dress.

You wear it,
Proud?
Innocent?
Pure?
Your white dress,
A veil.
Upon your breast I see a mark,
Black,
It will always be there,
Your soul,
Filled,
Lies,
Hatred,
Scorn.
Hide it with your mask of white innocence and purity,
Try,
But its hard to hide a guilty soul.


An angel.

If God came to find an angel,
Would he slain me?
A punishment,
For my unclean heart?

Hate.

You,
I hate you,
You wear a mask.
I strip you of your protection,
Your disguise,
I see a scared, lonely boy,
Crying

One Day.
One day you will wake up,
Wake up from your dream,
Life passed you by,
While you were sleeping.

She left you twenty years ago,
Your beauty queen,
Face of snow,
Heart of stone,
She left you to die alone.

She only came to break your heart,
Love is blindness, (u2-ism)
Couldnt you see her hangmans hands?
Cold eyes kill a warm soul,
She left you,
Your heart left too.

Today you woke up,
Without a feeling in your soul,
Life passed you by,
While you were sleeping.
