I just found this one in the bottom of my drawer... I think I wrote it when I was 15 (2 yrs. ago)

Vacancy

Desolate lands deprived of life
Wasted space gathers cold
Cold hanging still
Nothing fills this vacancy

Searching for a filler
Dust gathers in this space
Time denies all hope
Breaking beneath weight of doom

Thunder echoes on the wall
Not a whisper, not a shout
Emptiness closing in
Loneliness spreading its wings

The wings are clipped
No plans to take flight
Stranded always in this land
Settled in this vacancy

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

That can be your new catch phrase

Bebe,

how about Bebeface . . . "you're everywhere child all over the place"

or "Bebe, can we still be friends?" - Wild Horses

and Bebe, you say you were 15? you're not supposed to be that good a poet when you're 15, it's not fair!!!

awww thanks wanderer! Yeah, I was 15... hmmmm so let's see -- I would've been a fan for about a year then, which is right around the time I began to write poetry during some of my free time (U2 brought this out of me) Anyway, I've read your stuff.. now it's my turn to say it's not fair!! hehe your stuff is very good

thank you! but you are way ahead of me at your age, I didn't really start to write any poetry until I started college, so I guess I got a late start, and of course Bono has always been a major influence on my writing!!!
