Unsure
of what I know
and what I need to say
it's there
waiting
so I go to speak
but it won't come out
you look at me
and you know what it is
you don't want to hear it
and I don't want to say it
so i don't
silence
never was so loud
the pain you make
is now what's inside
waiting
to get out
maybe tomorrow
maybe next week
I'll open my mouth
and it'll come out
but for now
it's just
silence

wow, all sorts of possibilities for what this is about. I really like this and the ambiguousness of it. I can see this thing waiting to be said as many number of things

Interesting how we can be so straightforward with a pen, or from behind a computer screen and not be able to say what's on our minds face to face with another human being.
