Hi, Violet
Cha cha cha release me

The pit of babble
Where you lay down
Sweeps you into its loving embrace
At four in the morning
In a place where the sky is blotted out

White out
The scum of expectation
The lovers' strike

Young lovers at the point of a gun
It was always too late
Sunrise in the back of a taxi

Spinning for dear life
Paper towers
Temples holding up the sky
In the undertaker hours
The air's not enough to hold you down
Howling out an ancient chant
Hear them passing by
Like diamonds in the nite
Earthly bound and gagged
The lightest touch
The lightest touch
The biggest rush is perpetual motion

It's beautiful but it will consume us

Know that feeling slithering round inside
It's fearful and it's got no place to hide
This world cares nothing for your panic
In fact it enjoys seeing you clammy frantic
Put a value on this dawn
Go on I dare you
Put a value on your head
Because it's next to go

I was spinning inside out
At dawn you won't even know yourself
Burning out not turning up
You're holding up the twentieth floor
Drunk on exhaustion
But that's another story

Illuminate me
Shine your lantern all over me
She's crazy and out of time
Bending twenty cents into a week
It's winter cold and bitter
So fucking bitter

Cowbells on a morning tide
Disconnected and afraid

And now you're spinning into shape
At a million miles per second
Free to breathe in and out
Free to get it out
Punch me to stay awake
Tightrope over this one
Chimes dimes and nursery rimes
Lime green dress
No prior address

For christ's sake stop making noise
Starting all over again every second minute
You'll make up your mind
just as your nose hits the concrete

Slither into a new skin
It's another day on the bottom of the ocean

And she says
Should I wait in joyful hope
Or swim and save myself

Turn it around now
Strip it blue and get yourself gone
Got big big plans this time
Faulty wires and sleepless dogs
Hear them howling
Screaming at the noise
And you get down on your knees
And pray for dear life
Strobe lights and undertakers
Get down they're coming now
Down the rusty drainpipe
Just pray for your dear life

Young lovers at the point of a gun
Better believe it's about done for you

Heady opera in a minor key
Spin yourself a new language

thank you for posting this, I really enjoyed reading it; again, I love the way you manipulate the language, it's almost like a tease or a taunt at times

I myself quite often just write without editing. The last one I wrote here was that way. I guess that sort of writing is more about thoughts in one's head.
I actually was going to point out the same lines Wanderer did but i wont repeat them. I just loved the lines..

This world cares nothing for your panic
In fact it enjoys seeing you clammy frantic

Thanks for sharing it Kieran
