invisible to the storeys of decisions
i lay amongst the Earth
observing the vertical nightmares
finely cut suits pulling while they are pushed
i can feel only the breeze

the light now descending
my time expired
my freedom spent
gathering silver devices and settling into shiny car
i retreat to the everyday

hello.

this is my first post here.

don't know if that's worth the instrument that penned it but i had to go to montreal today for a meeting(an actual business trip for me

) so i got the chance to go outside the city and this was born...
thank you for your time...

I like this. A lot. I have Midnight Oil on the brain these days but it kind of reminds me of a song of theirs called Maralinga which is about nuclear testing in Australia. That's probably not what you want to hear, but if you look up the lyrics it might make a little sense.

I especially like this bit:
