The Sun and the Moon

This is my first attempt at something like this so please be gentle. Let me know what you guys think.

The Sun and the Moon
Time, it’s time to make my choice
Between the sun and the moon
But neither will do
I’m lost in twilight

The moon, I could lose myself in the night
But there’d be no warmth, no light
That only comes from the sun
I need it

The sun, I'm drawn toward its rays
But it keeps running away
Keeping me in the night
And out of the day

very late on this but the title Sun and the Moon caught my eye, My nickname is sun/moon related
