No, it's not a car commercial! I wrote this a while ago, and I'm no longer in this space, but maybe some can relate to it...maybe it's just my message in a bottle...
"The Infinity We Left Behind"
Just give me an answer
to the question I don't
know how to ask.
Let me inside because you miss me.
Not because you feel sorry for me.
Or guilty because of yourself.
You are in my deepest thoughts,
and you carry me softy over
our shared memory.
I wish you were still around,
so I could take you down to
the warm summer's air,
so I could hold you under
the infinity we left behind.
And so I could ask you
to meet me again,
under different circumstances.
