I took your wrath
And turned it into math
I found it easier
To handle the matter
And I collected data
To understand better
What was happening
What was the meaning
Of this constant fighting
And I started writing
On a piece of paper
To tell you later
What was my analysis
And the bottom line is:
When you’re with me, it’s at least one too many,
When I’m with you, we find it hard to make two,
When it comes to us, the plus equals the minus,
The result being, I’m done calculating.
I know you represent one third
Of what I cherish the most in this world.
But when you’re part of a couple,
You’re one person away to be alone.
