a violent amber sound crashes upon the distant door to the unknown
it stands up and writes its name in her head
get it out
said she, with a vivacious heady anger
this sound won't keep me here anymore
don't you want to meet your dead gods
the sound crept so still under her breath
waiting...
for its bittertwist unto her exhausted melody
of time
for it only ever sharps and scratches itself
up and over and under
and between
her lilting and slender motions;
that rake the sirens of her mind...

she tries to listen with her eyes
violently
and happy
and still, it stays within her.

 especially the 2nd line. I love the entrance to this poem- as if something exploded and entered into the world and immediately caused trouble, a sort of evil..

very intense, what can I say? I love it.
