I'm pretty much a lie,
A non entity,
Who has had little bearing on your life,
Your choices, your emotional choices,
The ones that you've loved,

They always seem to have a greater influence than the ones that have loved you,
Myself included,
You remain oblivious to my greatness,
Well, oblivious to my mediocrity,
Ignorant of what I have to offer,

I'm pretty much a lie,
A shadow or ghost,
Not so much haunting your every step,
But merely a constant footnote,
A name not worth saying anymore,
A name forgot,
Syllables lost in translation...........

I've often wondered would anyone miss me if I ceased to exist,
Would anyone shed a tear?
Would the world stop for a moment to respect my involvement in your life?
As it stands though I'm too busy writing a eulogy for myself before I've even had a chance to live,
Maybe I don't want to.................................

I often wonder similar things......

I don't regard myself as a lie, but I wonder if anyone would care if I did not exist anymore... but I suppose my influence has spread, if only a little....... Look at this internet.......... hmm.........

Well the internet is a great thing, people who live nowhere near each other get to converse and enjoy each others company, the world has been made smaller but there's still so much to see.........

surfing the world wide web.....
