Rock n' Roll Doggie FOB
Snow Falling On Embers
Midnight whispers goodbye
as quickly as it arrives
the night sky fighting
for a longevity it cannot achieve.
I remember you
told me the stars
extinguish millions
of years before their light
touch our skies.
Vanished satellites illuminate
my path, snow spread
before me like glass.
Cold crystals fall from the sky;
what would cry such
single formations? I
watch as they burn
against my warm skin,
cooling and awakening
me at the expense
of their own existance.
